Ok, so ACTUALLY....
Duece got confinement for 10 days.
The guy called once and wanted his tag numbers and updated vac stuff(which i need to get still, some one should call and remind me)
SOooo.
he has only called once in a week, should be good.

Everything is ok.
I got away with a warning.
And duece got a flick on the nose.
need to get his paperwork in!

So this morning while i was washing my coffee cup. Koa (my roommate Melindas dog) growls at Duece as always, so we both kinda shrug it off.
Duece is a curious and friendly little buggar but lately he's been a grump. He got closer to Koa and Koa snipped at him. Duece had had enough, as he should have, and ripped into him. We both jumped to grabbed our dogs, the only difference, Melinda got in between the two and Duece bit down on her arm.
I wrestled him to the ground and yelled at him. Then locked him away in my room.
I look over and she is holding her arm while blood is gushing out. She seemed a bit panicked as I was.
Anyway, She needed my vaccination records for Duece, so I gave them to her. She needed to go to the hospital...and of course, our RN roommate was not around.
Heres the deal with Duece. He is not current on his shots, He is not registered with the state, He is not liscenced. AND he just bit someone.
If the state decides to take him, they will.
He will be deamed potentially dangerous, and since he does not belong to me the possibility of being put down is possible.
I am in tears.
I do not know what to do.
I am over reacting, but I have seen some terrible things happen to animals after they bite someone. Regardless the situation.
I fail as a dog owner.
